Annual Conference 2025

On October 05, 2024, the annual conference of The Church of Jesus Christ

Restoration was held at Huyong Huyong Nature Park in Tagum City. When

I arrived in Huyong Huyong, the service had already begun. Brother Camana

and his wife were leading the songs. Once they were finished, Brother

Camana introduced the missionaries. Then Brother Mike Stephenson

preached and I was the interpreter.

I was very nervous because that was my first time to be an interpreter in

front of so many people. So I prayed silently in my heart for God’s help.

Brother Mike began by sharing about God, about how when He is in our

lives, He will guide and direct us. He also shared about the captivity of the

Jews. Once Brother Mike was finished preaching, we went to our respective

seats.

Then Brother Dante announced it was time to eat lunch because it was almost

noon, and he prayed over the food. After lunch, we walked around the

park of Huyong Huyong with the youth of the Church of Jesus Christ Restoration.

The day was amazing and wonderful because I met new friends

and heard the word of God. When I saw their faces, they were so happy to

be part of the group. It is very important to spend time together as brothers

and sisters in Christ. This is the bond I desire, the fellowship together in

Jesus Christ.

After our lunch break was over, we went back to the meeting area of Huyong

Huyong. At the end of the day we concluded with prayer, and then went

our separate ways. Before we separated though, we took a group picture

with the youth and church family.

This conference was a great experience for me. Once you have God in your

life, expect the unexpected. God will bless us and show us things we have

not imagined. This is because He loves us unconditionally. Put God first in

your life and the things you need shall be added unto you.
